Today marks the beginning of something we've been dreaming about for a long time.
The Institute of Professional Floristry was founded with one simple belief: the future of floristry should be shaped by florists.
Every day, thousands of flower shops solve problems, discover better ways to serve customers, develop creative techniques, and build businesses that bring beauty into their communities. Yet much of that knowledge stays within individual shops and is rarely shared across the profession.
We're working to change that.
We Are Recruiting Flower Shops Across the United States
Over the coming months, we'll be reaching out to independent flower shops, studio florists, retail florists, event designers, and floral professionals from across the country to participate in the Institute's first national research initiative.
Our goal is to better understand:
The opportunities and challenges facing today's flower shops.
How florists are adapting to changing customer expectations.
The tools, education, and resources professionals truly need.
What the future of professional floristry should look like.
This isn't market research for a company.
It's research for the profession.
Why Participate?
Every florist has a story worth sharing.
Whether you've been designing for forty years or opened your shop last month, your experiences can help create resources that benefit the entire floral industry.
By participating, you'll help shape future:
Industry research reports
Educational resources
Professional standards
Business insights
National conversations about floristry
Together, we can build a stronger profession for the next generation of florists.
